About the Artist and Company Founder
Ruma Husain is an artist, who specialises in oil painting and creating vintage style art specifically for products embracing themes of nature and femininity for the elegant brand called Earth Angel Art 280.
Situated in England, she loves to spend most of her spare time exploring the British countryside to observe and connect with nature and photograph inspirations in order to hand paint and create images for her unique and colorful brand. Often ideas fall in subconsciously and often it is not until after the painting is created that she is able to trace back to where the images were initially inspired. The paintings alter several times over the process and the ending of each piece to her is quite visceral. Her style is an adaptation of the Rococo movement, brought forward with a twist of unusual ethereal symbolism.

The Journey...
To me, the simplest most unexpected places yield the most inspirational scenes.You just have to see it. That's what I love about nature. Nine years ago I started off my art journey drawing portraits in graphite, but the mm accuracy always left me feeling somehow unfulfilled. Then one day I just grabbed my brushes, went out into nature and began to splash the colours of nature onto a canvas, delving into the world of ethereal femininity. It was tremendously freeing. My zeal for painting started here and gradually I moved onto painting in oils, I had always been a fan of rococo and found the designs lent themselves well to a final flourish of sophisticated pastels. The final product style evolved this way over some years and like most art the the whole process was all very visceral.
